FixDoor is excited to announce its participation in the upcoming 10th Annual Hill Country Builders Association BBQ Cook Off, hosted by the Hill Country Builders Association.

The event will take place from Friday, February 6, 2026 at 11:00 AM through Saturday, February 7, 2026 at 7:00 PM (CST) at Schumann Granite in Fredericksburg, Texas kicking off a full weekend of friendly competition and community engagement.

This annual cook off brings together builders, contractors, industry professionals, and families across the Texas Highland Lakes region to celebrate craftsmanship, collaboration, and great barbecue.


Event Overview and Competition Categories

The HCBA BBQ Cook Off features multiple competitive categories designed to encourage participation and camaraderie across the builder community.

BBQ Competition includes:

  • Brisket
  • Ribs (Spare)
  • Chicken
  • 2 T-shirts
  • 4 Towels
  • 4 Koozies

Additional optional competitions include:

  • Chili Competition
  • Cook’s Choice
  • Dutch Oven Competition
  • Bean Competition
  • Margarita Competition
  • Bloody Mary Competition
