FixDoor has been in business since 2015. Today it is Trade 4iR LLC, doing business as FixDoor, a small business based in Marble Falls, Texas. FixDoor is an IDEA Accredited Dealer. Owner Shelby Palmer has worked in the garage door industry since 1986 and is an IDEA Master Gate Technician and IDEA Master Garage Door Technician. He holds 9 active IDEA certifications, including Gate Systems Designer and Automated Gate Technician Levels 1–3. He leads the work himself, and the company is independent and locally owned.
